Giant carp
A CARP 1.2 meters long and worth 1 million yuan (US$120,000) was displayed for the first time at a flora exhibition center in Chencun, Shunde on Friday. Carp associations from the United States, Germany and many other nations attended the third national red carp competition and brought more than 1,500 of the fish.
Stable prices urged
GUANGDONG provincial price authorities published a series of measures to ensure stable prices in the first three months of next year. No governmental departments or companies are allowed raise sewage processing fees, traffic fees, or the prices of water, gas and other daily life necessities until April.
