BLENZ Coffee, a Canadian premiere retailer of specialty coffee, will open in Sea World park at Shekou next month, according to a source with China Merchants Real Estate (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd, developer of the park.

Founded in Vancouver, in 1991, Blenz Coffee operates a network of 29 franchises in Canada and four in Japan. It has joined China Coffee Holdings Inc. to develop Blenz Coffee other retail outlets in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.

Blenz Coffee features high quality roasted brewed coffees, Italian style espresso, whole bean coffees, specialty cold beverages, baked goods and pastries, and coffee related merchandise.

The company's philosophy is to create a retail atmosphere that will develop customer loyalty and brand recognition at an international level.

Blenz has been successful in establishing itself to become a market leader in the Greater Vancouver and Victoria areas in British Columbia, which is recognized as one of the most competitive coffee markets in the world.

Blenz offers only the top 10 percent of all premium high-grown arabica coffees available in the world. It roasts its coffees to perfection _ never burnt, never bitter, the company says.

It has developed its own unique look and brand image and has won international awards for its store and graphics design.

The company has concentrated on developing its concept through franchising, which it believes allows for faster expansion possibilities and committed local management.
