Latest Updated by 2003-11-25 17:08:27

Andres Llabaca, of the Vina Santa Rita winery in Santiago, will be there to introduce his wines at the Blue Italian Seafood & Grill. His selections will include Santa Rita's Reserva Merlot, Medalla Real Cabernet Sauvignon, Reserva Sauvignon Blanc and Reserva Chardonnay.

To enhance the experience, the hotel's executive chef Herman Zhao will prepare beluga caviar served with whole-wheat pancake, duck consomméwith golden leaf and rosemary lamb chops on sauteed spinach and chickpeas salsa.

Commenting on Santa Rita's Casa Real 1998, noted wine writer Tom Clancy wrote: "...this is a wine that is every bit as exciting as any of the iconic French and Californian boutique wines."

The wine introduction dinner at the Crowne Plaza will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tickets will cost 488 yuan per person, plus 15 percent service charge.
