Zhang Dejiang, Secretary of Guangdong Provincial Committee of the CPC inspected the Guangzhou University Town yesterday (August 2nd).

After 19 months, 140 buildings of the first phase contruction of Guangzhou University Town have been completed. 38,000 colleage students and 4000 teachers will start their new semesters in Septemer this year.

Accompanied by Lin Shusen, Secretary of Guangzhou Committee of the CPC and Zhang Guangning, Mayor of Guangzhou Municipality, Zhang Dejiang Secretary of Guangdong Provincial Committee of the CPC and Huang Huahua, Governor of Guangdong Province inspected the Guangzhou College City yesterday afternoon.

Zhang gave an ardent speech and sang highly praise for the efforts of all departments had made.
