[World Cup] Man locks wife away to watch game

A football fan in Putian of Fujian Province locked his wife in the bedroom to stop her disturbing him while he watched a match in the early hours of June 11, according to xinhuanet.com.

Lin's cheering during the Argentina vs Ivory Coast match was so loud it woke his wife, who promptly turned off the TV.

But the furious Lin reacted by locking her in the bedroom and continuing to watch the game, oblivious to her shouting.
