Yan Jiyuan, at the age of 105, the eldest painter in China's art circle, held an exhibition for his 102 works to help the worldwide tsunamis relief in Guangzhou on January 8, capital city of South China's Guangdong Province.
According to his son, Yan is willing to sell some of his paintings in auction and donate the money to the humanitarian rescues.
The celebrated elder has kept on the charity dedication to those needed for more than 70 years, and won the worldwide honorable fame and prestige. This is his first individual picture show in Guangzhou.
