Cantonese opera night to mark International Day for disabled persons

A Charitable performance by the Cantonese Opera will be held at the southern theater of Guangzhou on November 19th-20th to mark International Day of Disabled Persons. 28 famous Cantonese Opera masters and fans of Cantonese opera from Guangzhou and Hong Kong will perform at the charity event. The Guangdong Disabled Persons' Federation organized the performance.

Chen Shaoji, Chairman of CPPCC (China's People's Political Consultative Conference) of Guangdong province and former Guangzhou Mayor Li Ziliu will attend the show. The tickets to the performance are free but a donation is encouraged. All money raised will be used to help the disabled people. The donation hotline is (020) 87690327. The International Day of Disabled Persons is celebrated annually on December 3rd.
