The 5th Guangzhou International Tea Culture Exposition opened at Guangdong International Trading Building in Guangzhou this morning (October 13).
The organizers said they will use the 96th Canton Fair as an opportunity to introduce foreign guests to Chinese tea culture and to expand channels for Chinese tea exportation.
The six day tea exposition was organized by the China tea market association and the Guangzhou tea culture promotion association. To attract more guests, the organizers arranged a variety of performances including tea songs, and an introduction to ancient royal tea formalities from the Tang dynasty.
The exposition has plenty of other activities planned for their guests including a tea products exhibition, tea culture seminars, tea poems and calligraphy, and of course tea tasting.
