GD Puppet Troupe meet Taiwan, overseas audiences

A 6-member team from a Guangdong Puppet Troupe left on April 4 for Taipei to perform in that city.

The musical puppet show entitled "The God of Dreams" will be performed 18 times while the troupe is in the city.

The show is considered a landmark event as it is the first cooperative project between a Guangdong Puppet Troupe, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

The show tour in Taipei will end on April 25. After that, the Puppet Troupe will set out for Spain for an International Puppet Festival, starting a one-month show tour.

President Li Yu-chao of Guangdong Puppet Troupe said the skillful performance by Guangdong puppet artists will be an eye-opener to audiences.
