A photo-exhibition from Guangzhou's friendly city, Linkoping in Sweden, kicked off at the Guangzhou Library on February 28.

The theme of the exhibition is the "city through children's eyes". All the pictures were taken by teenagers in Linkoping and represent the city from their perspective.

The administrator of Linkoping Anders Leckne and Swedish Consul General in Guangzhou attended the opening ceremony.

Since Linkoping and Guangzhou became friendly cities in 1997, these two cities have frequent cultural exchanges.

Next year, a reconstructed ancient style merchant ship, the Gothenburg, will come to Guangzhou along the old maritime Silk Road in July.

The photo exhibition will prelude the Gothenburg's journey to China.
