A series of spring festival ballet performances will be held at the Beijing Tianqiao Theatre from February 1 to 5 by the China Central Ballet Troupe.
Tickets for the show will be well-priced, in the hope of attracting a whole new generation of ballet lovers to the theatre.
The first performance will be charity show for tsunami-hit countries.
During the five days, people will see selected pieces of classic ballet form "Gisele" and "Don Quixote " and the Chinese classic "The New Year Sacrifice", adapted from the short story of famous modern Chinese writer Lu Xun, as well as several modern performances. Editor: Catherine
