A musical adapted from a novel and cartoon series both entitled "Crazy for Songs" is to be staged in Shanghai.
The first original work created by the Musical Department of Shanghai Music Conservatory, the play offers a brand new interpretation on student-teacher relations, schoolwork and hobbies, as well as the difficulties and hardships they encounter.
It has taken that cast three years to prepare for the play, which will be part of this year's Shanghai International Music Festival .
