On February 7, an impressive exhibition, "From Emperor to Ordinary Citizen - Life of Aisin-Gioro Pu Yi, opened at the Generalissimo Sun Yat-sen Memorial on East Fangzhi Road. The exhibition will be open for 6 months, showcasing many valuable artifacts, including the imperial seal and dragon robe of Pu Yi, the last emperor of the Qing Dynasty.
The 40 artifacts and replicas on display include the dragon robe in which Pu Yi was enthroned, a menu from the Forbidden City, Pu Yi's eyeglasses, the great seal and national flag of the Japanese puppet state of Manchuria, Pu Yi's prison clothes, his household register and voter's register after being released from prison, and the manuscript of his autobiography "The First Half of My Life".
