[Guangzhou] Musical: The Boy & The Tree (Mar 11)
Latest Updated by 2007-01-25 09:35:25

A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree. A little boy loved to come and play around it every day. The tree kept out wind and rain for the boy and accompanied him as he went to school and gradually grew up. The tree witnessed his love and encouraged him to leave his hometown to pursue his dream.

This work is composed of 11 original songs with the children's song Little White Boat as the main theme and variation. Children will feel the music is familiar, which helps them to better understand the wisdom of the language of music. Chinese musical instruments along with a western orchestra are used to play the main theme and background music. The features of Chinese musical instruments will be distinctively revealed to the children, thus helping to enlighten their musical imagination.
