Ye Zi, a talented young local pianist, will give a solo piano concert Saturday evening at the Shenzhen Auditorium.
The 12-year-old Ye Zi will head for Germany to continue his studies at the Robert Schumann Hochschule after the Shenzhen concert.
Ye Zi will perform works by Mozart, Chopin and Liszt, and works by his great grandfather Liu Fengming, a well-known Chinese folk musician.
Hu Dingqi, a 14-year-old girl from Shenyang, silver award winner in last year’s Schumann International Piano Competition, will perform works by Beethoven at the concert.
Concert tickets are available at Schumann-Musikschule/Kindergarten in Shenzhen (Bihaiyuntian, Qiaocheng Road East).
