A NATIONAL landscape oil painting exhibition is on display at the He Xiangning Art Museum through Feb. 12.
The exhibit features 148 works, selected from more than 5,000 entries in the second national landscape painting competition in 2004.
Over a quarter of the works are by young artists in their first national exhibition.
Exhibits include works by members of the judging panel, including Jin Shanyi of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Xu Jiang of the China Academy of Art, and other leading Chinese oil painters such as Wen Lipeng, Bai Yuping and Yan Zhentuo.
Titled "Nature and Human," the exhibition is jointly organized by the China Oil Painting Association and He Xiangning Art Museum.
Dates: Through Feb. 12, 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Closed Mondays. 20 yuan per person.
