A ceremony has been held in China Modern Literature Hall awarding the winners of the national Writing Competition for New Young Writers.
Wang Qilin, a college graduate from Liaoning province won the Best Young Writer's Award and 20,000 yuan prize for his novel 'My Impure Years'.
The book is labeled as a 'confessional' novel, which shows the writer's retrospection of his tough youth.
Among the nine famous young judges born in the 1980s is Chunshu, who was featured in last February edition of Time Magazine as the mouthpiece of China's young alternative writers.
