We Shot the Moon

U.S. band We Shot the Moon will perform rock at B10 Live on Sunday night.

From San Diego, California, We Shot the Moon is fronted by singer/songwriter Jonathan Jones. The band formed as The Honor Roll when Jones' band, Waking Ashland, broke up. In August 2007, the group changed its name to We Shot the Moon.

The band has released three full-length albums and have completed many national tours since 2007. Their third full-length album, "Love and Fear," was released in 2012. The album was funded by Jones' fan base using a kickstarter project, and was the band's first release without a record label. "Love and Fear" was co-written by Jones and Dan Koch using a mix of electronic and traditional rock instruments, from which they derived a fresh new sound for We Shot the Moon. This year, the band released "The Finish Line."

We Shot the Moon has shared the stage with The Fray, Jacks Mannequin, Augustana, Plain White Ts, One Republic, and more.
