The Ordos Folk Dance Ensemble will offer a magnificent dance show, "Wedding of Ordos," at Shenzhen Poly Theater on Wednesday night.

Ordos is where well-known Mongolian hero Genghis Khan died. "Wedding of Ordos" has a long history full of Mongolian styles. The show is about the wedding ceremony between a brave man named Canglang and a tender woman named Bailu.

It displays the whole process of the traditional wedding ceremony and introduces the customs and spirit of Mongolia through traditional Mongolian dances.

The show was created from 2003 to 2005 and won a Wenhua Award in 2010.

Founded in 1951, the ensemble is a leading folk dance ensemble known for its Mongolian-style dances. For more than 60 years, it has promoted Mongolian art and culture while winning national and international awards.
