Celso Albelo as Alfredo Germont (9/27, 29)

Considered to be one of the best tenors of our time, Celso Albelo is in possession of a voice with great body and smoothness and a bright and attractive tone. These elements combine with refined vocal phrasing and expressive diction. In 2006 he moved into the highest echelons of the opera scene after his successful Duque de Mantua in Rigoletto, singing alongside Leo Nucci. From then on he has been invited to perform at Teatro alla Scala in Milan (Pagliacci), the Fenice in Venice (L'Elisir d'Amore) the Rossini Opera Festival (Stabat Mater), Teatro Verdi in Salerno (Lucia di Lammermoor), and so on. He has worked with world renowned conductors such as Antonio Pappano, Daniel Harding, Carlo Rizzi, and Daniel Oren. For his talent and dedication, Celso Albelo has been awarded the Opera Actual Prize 2008, the Opera Oscar bestowed by the Arena di Verona Foundation (2010-2012) and the Giuseppe Lugo Award 2013 in Italy


Vincenzo Costanzo as Alfredo Germont (9/28)

Vincenzo Costanzo is one of the youngest tenors in the context of Italian Opera. Born in 1991, he began his musical training at the age of six years singing in the chorus of Teatro San Carlo in Naples. At the age of 11 he continues his singing as soloist at Teatro San Carlo. He began studying singing with Tenor Marcello Ferraresi, then with Piero Giuliacci and Marco Berti. Despite his young age, he already had the opportunity to know and work with directors and conductors such as Franco Zeffirelli, Liliana Cavani, Daniel Oren and Daniel Barenboim. He recently performed in Macbeth at Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa and La Bohème at Teatro Verdi in Salerno.


Ionut Turlica Pascu as Giorgio Germont

Ionut Turlica Pascu was born in Romani. His debut in 2001 as Don Giovanni in Mozart's Don Giovanni was received warmly by the critics and the public. Followed in 2005 he was invited by the National Opera Bucharest as its first soloist. In 2004 Ionut decides to accomplish his dream of being also a conductor. He then polished his conducting technique at the G. Verdi Conservatory from Milan. He has performed in Cavalleria Rusticana/Pagliacci, Lucia di Lamermoor, Luisa Miller, La Traviata, La Bohème, Un Ballo in Maschera and others.


Natasha Verniol as Flora Bervoix

Natasha Verniol was born in Moscow. From 2001 to 2007 she was a soloist in the Bolshoi Theatre, where she played in operas such as The Queen of Spades, Aida, Nabucco and Madama Butterfly. In 2012 she made her debut at the Teatro Verdi in Salerno with Daniel Oren in La Traviata as Flora and continued to perform as the Priestess in Aida and Joan in Rigoletto directed also by Daniel Oren.

Francesco Pittari as Gastone

In 2006, Francesco Pittari made his debut in Verdi's Macbeth and since then he had taken part in numerous operatic production among which are Leoncavallo's I Pagliacci, Puccini's Manon Lescaut, Prokofiev's L'amour des Trois Oranges and Verdi's La Forza del Destino. He has played in the major Italian theaters including the Arena di Verona, the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, and Verdi Auditorium of Milan. In June 2013, he performed as Pong in the Guangzhou Opera House Grand Opera Production Turandot.

Carlo Striuli as Dottore Grenvil

Carlo Striuli was chosen by Luciano Pavarotti, following the Pavarotti "Voice Competition" in Philadelphia, to sing alongside him in La Bohème, both in the Teatro dell'Opera in Genoa and the Tour in Peking in 1986. He has performed in: Tel-Aviv, the Arena in Cesarea, in Aida; the New Israeli Opera and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra in Nabucco, Simon Boccanegra, La Bohème and Manon Lescaut, Suntory Hall and the National Theater; Rio de Janeiro, Theatro Municipal; Bolshoi Theater, Moscow and in many other foreign theaters. His opera appearances in Guangzhou Opera House include Tosca (2011) as Cesare Angelotti, Madama Butterfly (2012) as Sharpless and Turandot (2013) as Timur.
