Soprano Wu Bixia will collaborate with the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra on Friday, presenting a night of Hakka folk songs.

A professor at the China Conservatory of Music, Wu is the first vocalist in China to be able to sing in both the Chinese traditional school and the Western bel canto school and win the highest international awards.
