The 23rd Guangzhou (International) Food Festival, themed "Welcoming the Asian Games, Delicious Guangzhou", is to be held between November 12th and 22nd. Its main venue is set in Grandview Plaza and subsidiary venues are scattered all over the city, offering various delicacies of all types and sizes.

The main venue, at Grandview Plaza, will mainly promote mid-scale catering, where people can enjoy a great variety of shows such as presentation of delicacies, various professional catering competitions and appraisals, a delicacy photo contest, a cooking art show and interactions with citizens and other visitors, exhibition and sale of branded foods and utensils, as well as on-site production and sale of selected special flavored foods.

Various delicacy activities will be held at specified thematic venues such as at high-scale hotels and restaurants in about two months' time, all around the Festival circuit. With different themes and emphasizing assorted cuisines and styles of cooking, these activities will showcase the branded images of representative catering enterprises.

Subsidiary venues, representing catering for the masses, will be scattered in food streets and characteristic restaurants with well-known special cuisines.
