The New Freedom – a rock band from New Zealand, claims to be influenced by such bands as the Foo Fighters, Sum41, Def Leppard, A New Found Glory, Steriograz, Starting Line, Blink-182, Box Car Racer, The Used and Fall Out Boy and full of fashion.

Their music philosophy is: We may not love life, but we do love music.

The band is now perfecting their debut album, which won an international competition run by the American magazine "Remix". In July 2007, the band made a 2-week show in Mainland China and Hong Kong. And it planned to tour China in the beginning of 2008.
