A Korean cuisine festival was held between May 25 and 27 at the Sea World Plaza in Shekou, which is popular among locals for its bars and restaurants offering food from 22 different countries and regions.
Stone Pot Rice, Grilled Salmon Bowl, Dak Gui (barbecue chicken), Bul Gogi (barbecue beef), Dwegi Gui (spicy pork) and Kimchi ... all these mouth-watering Korean dishes were on offer at the festival.
Visitors to the plaza enjoyed traditional Korean cuisine and high-quality service in authentic Korean restaurants including Lijia and Hanyangguang.
Besides Korean specialties, wine and beer, performances were also staged, such as Korean songs, dances and music, to give diners a glimpse of Korean culture.
The Korean food festival was only the first of a series of festivals to be held at the Sea World Plaza this year. China Merchants Real Estate, developer of the Sea World Plaza, will be the major organizer of these activities.
