Citizens of Shenzhen, South China's Guangdong Province, are to be privileged with a more convenient tool to travel to Bangkok on National Day Holiday (Oct. 1-7), by the direct international flight between the two cities opens on Sep. 22nd. Bangkok Airlines Company, the second foreign airlines start a fixed schedule flight to Shenzhen, following the Singapore Airlines.

The flights depart from Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport on each Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, with the Boeing 717 plane offering 125 seats. 

Thailand, the earliest outbound tourism destination for Chinese, has long been a fancy for tourists in Shenzhen city.

With the opening of international passenger's flight, like Shenzhen-Singapore, Jinan-Shenzhen-Singapore, Qingdao-Shenzhen-Singapore, Shenzhen-Macao-Taipei and Shenzhen-Bangkok, the cross-border tourists added on folds in these years.

Shenzhen Airport is of a linkage with 8 international flights to the countries and regions like USA, South Korea, Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia and Taipei, etc. More than 150 planes are flying across the border each week.

Some other flights, like Shenzhen-Kuala Lumpur and Shenzhen-Shanghai-Osaka, are under administrative planning.
