The State Forestry Administration of China has sent a mangrove conservation inspection team to Enping City recently.
The team consists of officials from the Afforestation Department and Conservation Department of the State Forestry Administration.
After the field inspection, the team praised the city's efforts in conserving the mangrove resources and protecting people and properties' safety in the coastal areas.
Currently, Enping's mangrove forests cover a total area of 50 hectares. The mangrove forest is 3.5 meters in height on average and the highest trees are about 6 meters tall.
