A job fair for laid-off workers and rural laborers in the Pan Pearl River Delta (PPRD) area will be held in Huizhou city from November 6 to the 7th, according to a press conference held by the Huizhou government yesterday (October 20).
The job fair is also expected to help relieve the shortage of workers for Huizhou's private companies. Officials said there will be over 1,000 foreign companies and small to medium-sized enterprises attending the fair, providing the opportunity to fill over 70,000 vacancies.
The Jobs are primarily for managers and workers in the fields of IT, chemical engineering, textiles, and clothing and shoe manufacturing. (By Fion)
