The Waterfront Ecological Business Area is the first project to be initiated in the Bai'etan Economic Circle. The whole project covers an area of 960 thousand square meters, and the first phase takes up 170 thousand square meters聽.
The old factories and storehouses of the original State-Owned Enterprises formerly located there will be replanned, redecorated and undergone a complete transformation to become a high-class centre for fashion brands as well as high-end hotels and office buildings. With a total investment of over 1 billion RMB, these seven parks will be completed before the opening of the Asian Games next year.
