| On October 17th, the Consulate General of Ethiopia in Guangzhou held an Opening Ceremony at the Guangzhou Shangri-La Hotel. Ethiopia is the first African country to establish a consulate in Guangzhou.
Mr. Gebremichael Gebretsadik, General Consul of the Consulate General of Ethiopia in Guangzhou, noted that he expected the establishment of the Consulate General could further boost the cooperation between Ethiopia and Guangdong Province in the fields of investment, trade, and tourism.
