Regulations on notification of Guangzhou urban planning administration come into force
Latest Updated by 2007-06-11 14:37:45

Approved by Legislative Affairs Office, the Regulations on Notification of Guangzhou Urban Planning Administration made by Urban Planning Office will come into force beginning July 1st. According to the regulations, any detailed constructive planning shall be notified after being approved, so shall planning for communities and public facilities.

Compared with the regulations issued in 2003, the new version boasts more items and legal effects. The notification of urban planning is divided into notification reception, notification before approval and notification after approval.

On the one hand, citizens can play their roles in notification of urban planning administration by offering the Urban Planning Office their suggestions; on the other hand, they have the right to know the inside story by checking the relevant information. For example, they can get access to detailed information about a dwelling house before they buy it in order not to be cheated.

Notification reception is a new item and notification before approval is mainly available for those important projects like the planning for the Asian Games Village. Also, notification reception and notification before approval are also needed for the planning permits of land use for construction purposes, planning permits for construction engineering and planning adjustments.
