Guangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee (GAGOC) is collecting poster designs for the 16th Asian Games. The deadline for submissions is July 15th of this year. GAGOC will unveil ten short-listed designs at the end of July and the selected designers will receive a 10,000-yuan reward.

GAGOC says the applicants may be legal persons, natural persons and other organizations both at home and abroad so long as they love designing and have the capacity to design. Submissions should reflect the concept of Guangzhou Asian Games: "Thrilling Games, Harmonious Asia". Graphics and advertising language should be used to illustrate the concepts. The emblem and the Games slogan as well as the concept of "Thrilling Games, Harmonious Asia" should be incorporated into designs submitted.

Applicants can download the application form from the official website of GAGOC. Designs should be delivered, in person or by mail, to the Promotion Department of GAGOC before July 15 this year (delivery date certified by postmark) and the package should have "For Poster Campaign for the 16th Asian Games" clearly printed on it. GAGOC will invite experts to choose ten designs and release them at the end of July.
