Guangzhou environmental and sanitation official reveals that the city plans to add 100 water-saving toilets.
Guangzhou has more than 700 public toilets at the moment, 300 of which need to install the water saving device. From May last year, a batch of 60 environmental toilets has had the devices installed, help saving up water by 50 - 60%. Liwan is the first district to use this water saving toilet, with 7 such toilets were built and saving 200 to 600 tons of water every month. This year 100 more toilets will be equipped with the device.
