Guangzhou vice mayor Li Zhuobin announced at a press conference last Saturday (May 22nd) that the First Asian Forum for Recording Arts and Sciences in Guangzhou (AFRAS) will kick off in November. The forum will become another cultural brand built by Guangzhou after the China Golden Bell Music Awards, which became a permanent national-level music event in Guangzhou last year. Activities include forums for recording and science, an appraisal of the top 10 Chinese sound engineers and appreciation concerts of recording works.
