It is learned from the News Office of Guangzhou Municipal Government that the 4th China (Guangzhou) International Automobile Exhibition will open on July 25, 2006, and the 2006 China (Guangzhou) Automobile Development Forum, co-sponsored by the Society of Automotive Engineers of China (SAE-China), Bureau Of Foreign Trade And Economic Cooperation Of Guangzhou Municipality and Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group Co., Ltd. (GAIG) will be held on June 26, 2006.
It is disclosed by its organizer that, although there are some adjustments to the exhibition time, the exhibitor invitations have gone smoothly. The 4th Auto Guangzhou plans to house an exhibition area of 85,000 square meters, which is close to that of last year. Mitsubishi and Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. will make their debut at this exhibition.
The theme for this forum is "Automobiles?¤ Market?¤ Globalization", on which Shao Qihui, Standing member of the National Committee of the CPPCC and Honorary Chairperson of SAE-China will make a keynote speech. Fu Yuwu, Vice General Secretary of SAE-China said that the three large automobile exhibitions of Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou represent different economic circles, which have their own characteristics. Thanks to the automobile industrial development and its potential market, the future of Auto Guangzhou will get better and better.
