The 2nd China Potted Flower Trade Fair held an opening ceremony and an awards ceremony in Guangzhou flower exposition garden yesterday (Dec. 28th).

China flower association chairman Jiang Zehui, along with Secretary of Guangzhou CPC Committee Lin Shusen and other government leaders witnessed the trade fair opening and presented gold flower award certificates and trophies to five flower companies.

Guangzhou Liwan district head Liu Ping announced at the opening ceremony, that the China Potted Flower Trade Fair would have its permanent home in Guangzhou. Over 50 exhibitors from different countries, including Danmark, Holland, South Korea and Japan attended the fair. The fair also attracted more than 40,000 buyers.

China has become one of the leading flower producers in the world. It exported nearly 100 million US in potted flowers last year.
