THE China Hi-Tech Forum will include four special sessions with many world-renowned scholars, entrepreneurs and public officials attending.
An enterprise summit forum will discuss topics such as the professionalism of family enterprises and the internationalization of enterprises. Successful entrepreneurs, including Yang Lan, chair of China Sun Media Press Group, and Liu Yonghao, reputedly the richest man on the mainland and president of the Hope Group, will join the discussions.
Introduced last year, this year's roundtable conference will concentrate on economic and regional cooperation and Chinese and American CEO dialogue.
Special activities have also been designed for investors and enterprises such as matching services for high-tech projects and investment opportunities to spur technology transfers.
The Overseas Listing Consultation Program will this year be held for the second time, aiming to integrate the Chinese high-tech industry with the capital market.
Twelve overseas stock exchanges are to attend, including six of the world's top 10 exchanges.
The roundtable meeting will involve representatives from stock exchanges such as the NYSE, Nasdaq and the Swiss Stock Exchange and others from countries such as Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Canada, Australia and Hong Kong.
Consultation booths will also be installed for stock exchanges in the exhibition hall, where about 300,000 guests interested in overseas listing meet and talk.
The fair will also create opportunities for stock exchange representatives and enterprises to hold individual, personal consultations at an individual promotional conference.
